Instructions for Remote Access of UCD Library Resources
To access electronic databases, class articles, and other UC Davis library services not usually available to off-campus machines not using the UC Davis dial-up service, here's how to enable one's browser to do so:
1. Go to http://www.lib.ucdavis.edu/
2. Click on the link "Connecting from off campus," which is located on the blue bar at the left
3. Click on the link "Proxy service: Using DSL or commercial ISP accounts"
4. click on the "instructions" link within the second paragraph and follow the directions provided, they are very easy. Note: If you already have a UC Davis login ID and kerberos password (the password and ID people generally use to log in to computers at the campus labs), you can skip to step two of the instructions on the library proxy service page.
